FIELDINGS Marketing ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit fieldingsmarketing.com, get in touch with us, or connect a Google account to our reporting software, FIELDINGS Reporting Tools.

Who We Are

FIELDINGS Marketing is a marketing agency founded by Sam Fielding. We build websites and run SEO and Google Ads for service businesses across Perth, Western Australia, and remote Australia-wide.

What We Collect From This Website

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the details you give us:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (if you provide it)
• Your business name (if you provide it)
• The message and any details about what you need

We also collect technical data automatically as you browse: browser type, device, approximate location and pages visited, via Google Analytics.

We do not take payments on this website, so we never collect card or banking details here.

Google User Data Accessed Through FIELDINGS Reporting Tools

FIELDINGS Reporting Tools is the software we use to report on and manage the Google accounts of businesses that engage us. It connects to a Google service only after the account owner signs in with Google and grants access, or gives our agency account access from inside the Google product.

What We Access

Depending on which services a client connects, the tools can read:

• Google Ads: account settings, campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, search terms, conversion tracking settings and performance figures such as clicks, impressions, cost and conversions.
• Google Search Console: search queries, clicks, impressions, average position, indexing and URL inspection status, and sitemap status for the client's website.
• Google Analytics: website traffic and engagement reports for the client's property.
• Google Business Profile: the client's business listing details and posts.

We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google data through FIELDINGS Reporting Tools.

How We Use It

• To produce reports, audits and recommendations for the client whose account the data came from.
• To make changes to that client's Google Ads campaigns, Search Console settings (such as submitting a sitemap) or Business Profile, only when the client has engaged us to do that work.

We use Google user data only to provide these services to the client it belongs to. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles of individuals.

How We Store and Protect It

• Data is stored in FIELDINGS' private systems and private code repository, which only FIELDINGS staff can access.
• Sign-in tokens are stored on FIELDINGS' own computers, outside the code repository, and are never shared.
• We keep report data for as long as we work with the client, and delete it on request.

Who We Share It With

• The client it belongs to, as reports and recommendations.
• Service providers that run our tools, only as needed to prepare that work: Anthropic (AI analysis that helps us draft reports), GitHub (private code and report storage) and Airtable (our internal job tracking).
• Authorities, if we are required to by law.

Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Removing Access

You can remove FIELDINGS Reporting Tools' access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by removing our agency account from your Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics or Business Profile settings. To have us delete data we hold, email contact@fieldingsmarketing.com.

How We Use Website Information

• Reply to your enquiry and talk through what you need
• Prepare a quote or proposal
• Carry out the work you engage us for
• Understand how the website is used so we can improve it
• Meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations

Who We Share Website Information With

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers we need to run the website and respond to you:

• Resend, to deliver your enquiry from the contact form to our inbox
• Vercel, to host the website
• Google, for Google Analytics
• Authorities, if we are required to by law (for example a court order or a tax audit)

Cookies And Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the pages. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work as well if you do.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your contact details for as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver the work, and meet legal record-keeping requirements, which is typically up to 7 years for tax and business records.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
• Request deletion of your information, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au
